On March 23, 2026, the official opening of the 7th edition of the Students’ International Week took place, an event held from March 23 to 27, 2026. Delegations from 11 countries participated in this activity: Albania, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Peru, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
At the beginning of the event, the participating delegations were presented, followed by an formal meeting with the Commandant (Rector) of the "Henri Coandă" Air Force Academy and an official exchange of gifts. The program continued with a visit to the IAR Brașov company, offering participants the opportunity to learn about an important part of Romania’s aerospace industry.
Subsequently, the students attended the cadet parade and a drill demonstration, as well as the “Introduction to the Romanian Language” course. In the second part of the day, the delegations visited Cantacuzino Castle and the aviation exhibition hosted on the premises, concluding the day in a cultural and recreational setting.
This week represents more than an exchange of professional knowledge and experience; it is a unique opportunity to build lasting bridges between our cultures, to understand different perspectives, and to forge friendships that will last a lifetime. In a world marked by complex and dynamic challenges, international cooperation is essential for ensuring global peace and security. The cadets of today will become the officers who will shape the future.





Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the second day of the International Students’ Week began with a visit to Făgăraș, where participants had the opportunity to explore the city’s historic fortress, a remarkable landmark rich in history and cultural significance. The visit offered a unique setting that combined heritage with a picturesque atmosphere, creating the perfect backdrop for interaction and exchange. On this occasion, each delegation presented their home institution, sharing insights into their academic environment, traditions, and values, thus fostering mutual understanding and strengthening international connections.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the third day of Students’ International Week began with the participants attending the first part of a leadership course held at "Henri Coandă" Air Force Academy’s shooting simulator facilities, where they had the opportunity to develop leadership skills and familiarize themselves with the training environment, including the use of simulators and the virtual shooting range.
In the second part of the day, the program continued with the transfer to Tărlungeni Training Camp, where participants were involved in the second part of the leadership course in an outdoor setting. The activities included practical exercises and team-based tasks designed to enhance decision-making, cooperation, and leadership abilities. The day concluded with dinner and a campfire in a relaxed atmosphere, providing participants with an opportunity to socialize and strengthen connections.


Thursday, March 26, 2026, the fourth day of Students’ International Week began with a visit to Bran Castle, where students had the opportunity to experience the history, myth, intrigue, and magic of the castle.
After returning to the Academy, the delegations participated in a visit to the institution’s facilities, including the simulators used in the training process, gaining the opportunity to become familiar with modern training methods. Subsequently, participants benefited from free time for individual activities and socializing.
The day concluded with the official dinner of Students’ International Week, held in a festive setting, marking an important moment of the event and strengthening the relationships among participants.
